If replacement needed, gently clean and pat dry the tattoo and surrounding area, ensuring there is no soap or residue on skin.
After 4-6 days, remove bandage in shower using mild cleanser and hot water.
Gently peel Derm Shield by pulling it back over itself. Avoid pulling upwards.
Air dry tattoo or pat dry with clean paper towel.
Apply thin coat of mild moisturizer 1-2x a day. Tattoo should never look wet/glossy.
Clean: Wash your hands, then gently rinse your piercing twice daily with sterile saline or a sterile wound wash.
Avoid: Do not touch, twist, or remove jewelry. Avoid alcohol, peroxide, ointments, and swimming in lakes/pools until healed.
Healing: Expect mild redness, tenderness, and discharge in early healing. This is normal.
